 Kwei, kwei,
Bonne navigation!. Meegwetch, Serge Paul, Chef Kwei, kwei, Our community is located on Algonquin territory. For approximately 40 years it has regrouped a diversity of off reserve aboriginals, therefore honouring the symbols of diverse nations and affirming the values of sharing and caring about what members had learned or dreamed further back in their histories. All our actions our oriented towards our collectivity. The term "Aboriginal" has come into common usage since 1982 when protections for Aboriginal and treaty rights were incorporated in the Canadian Constitution. "Aboriginal" was defined as including Indian, Metis and Inuit peoples of Canada, although the boundaries of membership in these collectivities remains subject to proofs of aboriginal ancestry through research and data collection.
We welcome you on our website, enjoy and please share information with the community or feel free to add beneficial information.
We are also honoring the many talents of our members specially Denis Desmarais who generously offered this website to the community as well as Alain Marineau for his expertise as our webmaster and web designer. Welcome on our web site.
